Download Links

Download links are used when you want the user to be able to download the file they are clicking on as opposed to opening or navigating to that file.  The example below shows how the user is able to download an image by clicking on some text as opposed to the usual “right click -> save as” technique.

In the example we have used text to represent the link, this can easily be changed to an image by adding an image in the space where “Download Text” is.
